A gynecological examination is a medical examination that assesses the female reproductive organs and overall reproductive health; its steps are explained in advance and it proceeds with your consent.

A gynecological examination (vaginal examination, genital examination) is an examination of the vulva, vagina, cervix, uterus and ovaries. Its purpose is to protect reproductive health, detect diseases before they cause symptoms, or investigate the cause of a complaint. At Op. Dr. Hüseyin Efe Akalın’s practice in Kuşadası, the examination and ultrasound are done together.
