Dr. Hüseyin Efe Akalın graduated from Başkent University Faculty of Medicine in 2019 and completed specialty training (residency) in obstetrics and gynecology at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital from 2020 to 2024. After specialty training, Op. Dr. Akalın worked at Artvin Şavşat State Hospital from 2024 to 2026.
Today, Op. Dr. Akalın sees patients at the practice in Kuşadası for pregnancy follow-up, gynecological examinations and reproductive health.

Approach to examination
The procedures to be done during the examination are explained beforehand; if the patient wishes, a break is taken. Op. Dr. Hüseyin Efe Akalın shares the assessment result, the options and the follow-up plan with the patient.
When a test or treatment that cannot be done at the practice is needed, the patient is referred to the relevant specialist or healthcare facility. For example, when a detailed (level II) anomaly scan is needed during pregnancy, the patient is referred to a perinatologist (maternal-fetal medicine specialist).
Examinations can be in Turkish and English; pregnancy follow-up can also continue in English.
